Wave Aquatics

Our Mission is to provide a competitive swim program where each member has the opportunity to fulfill his/her goals as an athlete and person.

Wave is a non-profit competitive swim team led by the coaching staff and the Board of Directors. We are affiliated with USA Swimming (USA-S) and the Pacific Northwest Swimming Association (PNS). Our organization offers a training program for swimmers of all abilities. WAVE is supported through registration fees, training fees, fundraising & corporate sponsorships. 


Wave Swim School

Wave Swim School is a swim lessons program which focuses on swimming as a life skill and learning to swim and having fun while doing it.  Lessons are taught through a natural progression of swimming skills forcusing on safety and technical skills as well.


Lake Washington Masters

Our club is a USMS year round team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability.

Our focus is on creating a challenging, rewarding swimming experience for swimmers of all ages and on having the most fun of any Masters swimming program around!


Seattle Synchro

Seattle Synchronized Swim Team's mission is dedicated to offering a high quality competitive program in a cost effective, efficient manner, within a community of families who value athletic excellence and the positive emotional growth of swimmers.

Seattle Synchronized Swim Team has been in the Seattle Metro area for over 20 years.  In that time, the Team has produced 3 Olympians - Jillian Penner in the 2008 Summer Olympics and Tracy Ruiz-Conforto and Candy Costa-Burk, who are the 1984 Olympic Gold Medalists.


 Aquarobics

If your goal is a leaner, stronger, fit body and having fun while you get there Aquarobics is for you.

Our water fitness program uses the buoyancy and resistance of the water to promote quicker muscle tone with less body and joint impact than on-land exercise.

Our professionally trained instructors will inspire you to move and burn calories away, all to your favorite music. Swimming skills not required and all fitness levels welcome.  For more information, click here


Aquarobics WaterMotion

This program is designed to help build strength, improve flexibility and balance.  It is a gentle cardiovascular program designed so that you may work at your own pace.  These classes are designes as group water therapy for those with arthritis, fibromyalgia, joint replacement, back issues and pre & post surgery.


Juanita Aquatics Center Water Aerobics

Juanita Aquatics Centers Water Aerobics classes are offered in the evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays and are shallow water classes for people of all ages and abilities.  Each class is $6 or you can purchase a 10 visit pass for $57


Discover Swimming

JAC lesson program for students ages 16+.  Our adult lessons program is designed to get you swimming, whether for the first time, or as a refresher or for anyone in need of a little stroke refinement.  Each of our class levels has just what you are looking for.

We will be offering classes Friday nights at 7:00pm and Sunday mornings at 10:00am. Please call for registrations and class schedules and availability- space is limited.

Class Levels 

DS Level 1- This class is designed for the very novice swimmer with little to no swimming experience, as well as anyone looking to conquer their fears of water.  In this level you will be focusing on getting comfortable in the water, learn to float, tread water, basic self rescue techniques.

DS Level 2- This class is designed for swimmers who can move around in the pool but have little to no swimming experience.  If you are comfortable in the water and can manage short swims this is the class for you.  In this class we will be focusing on the fundamentals of swimming-  body position, kick, pull, rotation, and side breathing.

DS Level 3- This class is designed for swimmers who have the basics of swimming freestyle or crawl stroke who need a little refinement.  In this class we will be working on the details of catch, pull, recovery, kick, rotation, side breathing and introduction into turns. 

DS Level 4 -This class is designed to continue to work on freestyle but also introduce you to the fundamentals for backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.

DS Level 5- This class is designed to refine backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, as well as learn open turns, flip turns, streamlines, and starts from a dive.

JAC Splash Into Summer Swim Camp

JAC will be offering a summer swim camp, Monday through Thursday afternoons from 1:30-2:30pm.  Each day at camp will consist of 30 minutes of swim instruction from our highly trained camp instructors and 30 minutes of free swim.  Camp registration is available for 1-11 sessions  at $75 per session. Register for 3 or more sessions and pay $65 per session.

 Competitive Stroke Clinics

On Sunday nights, during the summer, JAC will be offering stroke clinic to help swimmers get ready to swim their best during summer league and high school swim season.  

 

Every Sunday evening from May 9-July 25th will offer a drop-in clinic for $15.  From 5:30-6:30 P.M. will be a clinic designed for swimmers 12 & Under, from 6:30-7:30 P.M. will be a clinic designed for swimmer 13 & Over. 

 

Each clinic will be offered on a first come, first serve basis with a maximum of 36 participants per class.  Come early to reserve your spot.  Please call 425-936-1627 with questions.

 


Dive Camp

 Summer Dive Camp is being offered at Juanita Aquatics Center. Learn to dive for the very first time, or improve your technique.  Dive camp is being run and operated by Deb Shelton who coaches Inglemoor High School girls and boys, as well as Bothell's Boys dive programs.  Also working the Deb this summer is Max Klassen, Washington's 2009 State Champion diver, as well as coach for Lake Washington and Juanita High Schools.  The final coach working with camp this summer is Dannika Shertad who coaches Woodinville High School girls and boys diving.      Lap Swim    

Pool use is set up for 6 lanes for swimming laps only. There is no diving board or other usage at that time.   We offer a 10 visit pass and monthly swim pass, otherwise price is $4 a swim.

Public Swim

Public Swim is open to everyone.  The pool is set up for use of the both diving boards, a shallow swimming and play area, as well as, limited lane space for lap swimming.  Admission is $4 per person 4 yrs. old and up.

Family Swim

 Family swim is for families to come play inthe pool, splash around, and have fun.  There may be use of one diving board at that time.  If you have questions on use, check with the lifeguard on deck.  There may also be limited lane space available. Admission is $4 per person 4 yrs. old and up.
